EMMA CAER - RESUPINATE
With the terrain expanding, Emma, who works across web design and textiles, used the extra room for Resupinate, an upside down flower doubling as the festival's Slow Space, a calm, staffed retreat for anyone stepping out of the crowd to lie flat and rest.
HANNE DESWERT & SIMON BOULEZ - CADENCE OF THE TILTS
Both trained as architects before drifting toward installation work that sits between disciplines. Cadence of the Tilts is a seesaw structure that throws its own tipping point in a beam of light and smoke, following bodies as they hang between balance and rebound.
TOR - FIELD CHAPEL
ToR builds objects that pull from references outsiders rarely mix: military design, folk tradition and religious ritual. Field Chapel takes the shape of a roadside shrine, three pillars under a pitched roof, less a monument than somewhere to pause.
VERLOREN BEKISTING - CAROUSEL
Calling themselves a collective rather than an office, they start from whatever material is available rather than a fixed design. Carousel takes discarded tires, cleans them, and rigs them onto scaffolding as eight swings, turning waste into something communal to sit on and move.
VOOR∙ALS∙NOG - (UN)ADAPTED CHAIR
Yann Courouble and Bert Stoffels, working as voor∙als∙nog, treat architecture as something never really finished. The (un)adapted chair grew out of a house extension they were never able to see completed after a dispute with the client, so they built a mobile lookout on wheels instead.
