Where is XRDS located?

You can find us at the mesmerizing Vijverspark in Anderlecht, Belgium.

‍Parking: Visitors to the festival can park at P+R CERIA-COOVI near exit 16 of the R0. A day ticket costs 15 euros. The walking route to the festival is signposted.

We host an afterparty at Fuse on both days. Afterparty runs from 23h00 until 08h00.

Is there a minimum age to enter the festival?

←

The minimum age to enter the festival is 18 years. Visitors are obligated to enter their date of birth upon purchasing a ticket. If the visitor is younger than 18 years it isn’t possible to purchase a ticket to the festival. When there is a doubt that a visitor isn’t old enough to enter the festival we will do a passport check. When the visitor hasn’t reached the age of 18, access will be denied. The ticket will not be refunded.

Can I enter the afterparty with my festival ticket?

No, afterparty tickets are sold separately. Fuse has a limited capacity so we advise buying your afterparty tickets in advance.

Are there lockers available?

Yes, we offer on-site lockers that are available for purchase in advance through our ticket shop.

I've lost an item at the festival: what do I do?

←

All lost items are sent to the club and listed there. Please send an email to letusknow@fuse.be and describe the item you have lost as accurately as possible so we can assist you promptly.

Can I bring flyers or other promotional material to the festival?

Flyers and/or posters of other events – without any permission of the organization – are not allowed. Please reach out to us through info@xrds.be if you want to know about promotional opportunities on our festival grounds. Professional DSLR cameras are forbidden.

I can't find the email with my ticket. What should I do?

If you bought your ticket via Paylogic, please follow this link to retrieve it or contact the customer service of Resident Advisor (ticketsupport@ra.co) directly.

Are there official afterparties?

←

Yes! Every day we have an afterparty at Fuse. The afterparty is an official part of the XRDS program.

Afterparty runs from 23h00 until 08h00.

Is it possible to exchange day tickets for another day?

←

Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange day tickets for another day. We recommend to safely sell your ticket on TicketSwap and buy a new one on our website.

Is re-entry possible?

←

Re-entry is not possible at XRDS. In = in, out = out. Enjoy the moment!

I have allergies. Can I bring my own food and/or beverages?

←

We try to provide a balanced selection of meals and drinks (vegan and veggie options). It is not allowed to bring your own food and/or beverages.

We do advise, however, if you have a severe allergy to gluten for example, to ask for the manager of the food truck. He/she can inform you and help you think about an adjustment in the dish so that you can enjoy the relevant dishes. So pay extra attention when consuming food/drinks

Is XRDS wheelchair friendly?

Our festival grounds are fairly accessible for wheelchair users with plenty of concrete paths and dance floors on a flat terrain. For more information, please contact info@xrds.be

What is the drug policy?

←

The use of illegal drugs is harmful and can have negative consequences for you, your immediate environment, our organization as well as the relevant security authorities. It is prohibited by law to possess or sell drugs at XRDS. Any violation of this can lead to criminal prosecution and denial of access to the festival site.

Is there first aid available on site?

There is a first aid station permanently present on site, clearly marked on the festival terrain and map. Please be aware that these people stand in for your safety and the safety of your loved ones, so it’s highly recommended to follow their instructions carefully.

Respect, consent and behaviour

XRDS wants to be a safe-r- space for its visitors. Look out for each other, and show respect and tolerance. Treat everyone equally and respect everyone’s personal space. No means no, be mindful when engaging with others. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly festival, no hate or racism against any groups will be tolerated.

Will the Fuse Awareness crew be on site?

We have our Fuse Awareness Team available on site. Search for our Awareness Peers wearing an orange sweater or shirt or the Help Desk. If you’ve encountered or witnessed any unsafe or unpleasant situations, please reach out to our Awareness Team, they are there to listen and help.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

We don't have a physical sale point on site for entree tickets. You can only buy your ticket online through our website.

How to get there?

By public transport

←

Midi Station (Gare Du Midi) in Brussels is the best way to get to the festival by train. There are direct trains to this station from many stations including Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven and Brussels North and Central. Plan your route via the NMBS website and don’t forget to select the Weekend Ticket for 50% off.

From the Zuidstation (Gare Du Midi), either the Metro, Tram or bus is a smooth way to get to the festival location. There are several rides per hour there and back until a little after midnight.

By metro

‍From Brussels-South (Zuidstation), take Line 6 (Koning Boudewijn) or Line 2 (Simonis) and change at Weststation or Beekkant to Line 5 (Erasmus direction).
Get off at ‘Het Rad’ – walking signs guide you to the festival (1.5 km – 18 min).

By tram / bus

Line 81: Montgomery - Marius Renard

Direct connection from Ixelles (tram) and Zuidstation (replacement bus) to Vijverspark, stop 'Marius Renard'.

Line 74: Uccle - Clemence Verard

Direct connection from Uccle (Bus) to Vijverspark stop 'Marie Curie'

– From the Zuidstation it's a few hundred metres walk to the Fuse for those going to the after party. Extra trams will run to Brussels-South after each festival day.

By bike

The XRDS Festival is easily accessible by bicycle. Many municipalities are within cycling distance. There is a free, guarded cycle park on Marius Renardlaan under the Brussels ring road near the entrance to the festival. XRDS will provide a small gift for all cyclists!

Also handy: in Brussels, you can make use of Villo's shared bicycles. A day pass costs 1 euro with the first half hour of each ride being free and 0.5 euro for the second half hour. There are 6 Villo stations around the Vijverspark: Marius Renard, Theo Lambert, Luther King, Curie, Merckx and Van Hellemont. You can find more information about Villo here.

Do you live too far to come by bike? Park & Bike is highly recommended. You take the bike in the car, park nearby and then you cycle to the XRDS bike park. Parking is possible at a.o:

Westland Shopping (Sylvain Dupuislaan 433, 1070 Anderlecht - 2,1 km by bike)
Basilix Shopping (Keizer Karellaan 420, 1082 Sint-Agatha-Berchem - 7.3 km by bike)

From Vijverspark it is a 6,8 km bike ride to the Fuse for those going to the after-party.

We strongly advise against it, but if you choose to come to Brussels by car, there are some important things to bear in mind:

Parking: Visitors

Visitors to the festival can park at P+R CERIA-COOVI near exit 16 of the R0. A day ticket costs 15 euros. The walking route to the festival is signposted.

Kiss + Ride: Visitors

There is a K+R zone on the Marius Renardlaan near the festival entrance. From the R0 take exit 15 and follow the signs K+R.

There is also a Taxi Service at the K+R.

If you want to go to the afterparty in the Fuse by car, you can park in Parking Hallepoort or OneParking Brussel Zuid, both of which are nine minute walk from the Fuse.

By shuttle

XRDS festival is providing shuttle busses to the festival and back, this in collaboration with Keolis. Several routes are scheduled with several boarding points such as Brussels, Ghent, Leuven and Mechelen.

By plane

Brussels Airport (BRU)

Take a direct train to Brussels-South (20 min, €9.30). From there, hop on metro line 5 towards Erasmus and get off at Parc des Étangs (20 min).

Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL)

Take the Flibco bus to Brussels-South (1 hour, €18). Then, follow the same route: metro line 5 to Parc des Étangs.

By Train

Thalys and Eurostar connect Brussels with Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Cologne, arriving at Brussels-South (Midi) or Anderlecht.
- From Brussels-South: Take metro line 5 towards Erasmus and get off at Parc des Étangs.
- From Anderlecht: Hop on tram 81 towards Marius Renard, get off at Albert I, and walk the last 10 minutes.

By Bus

FlixBus and BlaBlaBus arrive at Brussels-South.
- From Brussels-South: Take metro line 5 to Parc des Étangs.
- Alternatively, take tram 81 to Albert I, then walk 10 minutes.

Bicycles and scooters cannot be parked directly at the festival grounds but can be left at designated drop-off points nearby.

How do I top up my festival wristband?

Scan the QR code on your wristband using the Payconiq by Bancontact app:

Confirm your payment
The funds will be added to your wristband instantly

Not using Payconiq or need a different payment method like an international card? Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to access an online platform where you can:

Top up your balance using other payment methods
Check your current balance
Transfer money to another wristband

Can I use cash at the festival?

Yes.

While XRDS is cashless in terms of payments at bars and food stands, you can still use cash to top up your wristband at the top-up station.

What if my smartphone can't scan QR codes?

You can visit the on-site top-up station to load money onto your wristband, check your balance or add vouchers. Our staff will assist you there.

Can I top up my wristband before the festival starts?

←

Yes.

Once you receive your wristband (for example, if sent in advance), you can immediately top it up via the QR code. If not, you can top up on-site as soon as you get your wristband.

Is there a minimum or maximum top-up amount?

←

The minimum top-up is EUR5. The maximum per transaction is EUR150. You can top up multiple times if needed.

How do I add drink or food vouchers to my wristband?

←

Purchased drink or food vouchers in advance? Print them or save them to your smartphone. Once you receive your festival wristband, scan the QR code on it using your phone's camera. Click on 'Scan Cashless Voucher' and follow the steps. Your vouchers will be automatically converted into cashless credit.

How can I check my balance?

You can check your balance at any time via:

The QR code on your wristband (scan with your phone)
Any bar on-site
The top-up station

Your balance is shown before and after each payment.

Where can I use my wristband to pay?

Your wristband is the only accepted payment method on-site. You can use it at:

All bars
All food stalls
Merchandise stands
Any other official sales point

Can I get a refund for any unused vouchers?

←

Yes.

Refunds can be requested from August 18 onwards. A EUR1 processing fee will be deducted from each refund.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

←

Once you request a refund (from August 18), it typically takes 5 to 10 working days for the amount to appear in your account.

Can I transfer my balance to someone else's wristband?

←

Yes, you can easily transfer funds to another wristband:

1. Scan the QR code on your own wristband using your phone's camera

2. Open the link and tap 'Add Friend'

3. Scan your friend's QR code

4. Choose the amount and confirm the transfer

No app download required.

What happens if I lose my wristband?

←

Your wristband is your digital wallet. If you lose it, your balance can only be recovered if you registered your wristband online beforehand. We strongly recommend registering your wristband as soon as you receive it.

Can I use my wristband for future editions of XRDS?

←

No.

A new wristband system is used each year. Your current balance is only valid for this edition.

What happens to my balance after the festival?

←

Your balance remains valid until the end of the refund period. After that, any remaining funds will expire. Make sure to request your refund in time if you still have credit left.
