STERAC is one of the long-standing aliases of Amsterdam producer and DJ Steve Rachmad, who has worked under names including Black Scorpion, Parallel 9, Ignacio, Dreg and Sterac Electronics to distinguish different strands of his output. Under the STERAC name, he concentrates on direct, loop-based techno distinct from his house, disco, or electro-oriented projects. The Sterac catalogue spans labels such as M Plant, Tresor, Klockworks, Afterlife, Mote Evolver, Indigo Aera and Delsin, with tracks later reworked by artists including Ricardo Villalobos, Vince Watson and Marc Romboy. At the Saturday afterparty of XRDS 2026 at Fuse ROOM.01, STERAC delivers a late-night set built on classic, Detroit-rooted techno sequences and extended, vinyl-informed transitions.
