Special Request is the alias of Paul Woolford, introduced in 2012 through a series of white-label 12" releases. Drawing from UK pirate radio traditions, the project moves across breakbeat, jungle, and darkside techno and functions as both an artist moniker and a vinyl imprint, with releases on Houndstooth. Sully is a UK bass producer whose work combines 2-step swing, breakstep drum programming, and jungle sub-bass, with EPs such as Phonebox and Jackman’s Rec shaping his catalogue. On Friday at Outskirts, they come together for a set built on break-driven sequencing, 2-step rhythms, and low-frequency bass patterns.
