Katatonic Silentio is the project of Italian sound artist and researcher Mariachiara Troianiello, active for nearly two decades across electronic music and performance. Working between experimental DJ sets and live configurations, she draws from musique concrète, ambient, dub and techno, with releases on Delsin, Ilian Tape, Midnight Shift and Die Orakel. Alongside club performances, her work appears in festival and institutional contexts including Unsound. On Saturday, Katatonic Silentio presents a Viaduct stage set built on extended sound layering, dub-informed low frequencies, and gradual structural development.
