Dax J is a London-born producer and DJ and the founder of Monnom Black, the label he established as a platform for contemporary hard-edged techno. His productions are characterised by fast tempos, dense percussion, and direct rhythmic structures, released through Monnom Black and other leading imprints. Performing live, he recreates this studio-focused approach on hardware rather than through traditional DJ mixing. On Saturday, Dax J closes the Viaduct stage with a live set built around high-tempo, percussive techno executed in real time.
